If being the only lodge inside the Chobe National Park wasn’t enough, Chobe Game Lodge is a firm favourite of ours for a host of other reasons. It’s not your typical safari lodge, as the décor is decidedly Moroccan. This may seem unusual but it blends in perfectly with the natural surroundings.
It is eco-tourism certified and operates an electric safari fleet of vehicles and boats, making for a smoother and quieter game viewing experience. Following the banks of the river, is a 250-metre elevated boardwalk offering endless panoramic views over the Chobe River. Between activities is the perfect time to find an inviting spot along the platform to settle down and watch the ever-changing wildlife parade across the river. The lodge has a full complement of professional female guides and their energy and passion is contagious!
